Host of a 2-week celebration and activities for the public to welcome the
Lunar New Year in New York's Chinatown. Display and introduction of
Chinese culture to other ethnic groups for the enhancement of friendship
and harmony. Daily exhibitions and demonstrations of Chinese
traditional poetry, calligraphy, and painting were among the programs.
