「乾坤」意指"乾天坤地，人立中央"，一群紐約華人創辦的乾坤基業，以人文角度關注
自然、反思人性，尤其9-11發生後，很多人的腦裏多了些問號，如何能化解文化誤解
與文明沖突？乾坤透過活動、展覽、講座和出版的多元化方式，希望融合古今中西歷
史文化，尋找天地人和諧共處之道。經過三年的努力，乾坤已舉辦並與各個團體合作
了多項活動，特別是有關環保，中華傳統文化方面，增加了大眾的關心和認知。

"Chien" means Heaven; "Kun" means Earth. Humans thus stand in between. Chien Kun
Foundation was established for the concern of humanity. Especially after the tragedy of 9-11,
people started to ask a question: how to resolve the cultural conflicts and civilizations' clash?

Through a combination of various programs, exhibitions, workshops, and publications, Chien
Kun Foundation tries to digest the modern and the ancient, the east and the west, cultures
and histories, and to seek out the way of harmonious relationship among humans, earth, and
heaven.

Chienkun Domain @ Silkroad Place serves as an integration platform for East meeting West,
as well as a center for community friendship, in the heart of New York City's Chinatown.

一个了解中国的窗户，華洋雜处，融汇贯通。
